How to choose an agency

Check the Intermediaries Registry
An agency must be entered in the Intermediaries Registry, a public database kept by the Ministry of Economic Development. Ask for the registry number. When an agency adds it, you can also see it on its profile.

Ask for a written contract
A brokerage contract is concluded in written or electronic form. Before signing, check the commission amount, how it is paid, and how long the contract lasts.

Do not pay commission in advance
An agency must not ask for the commission, or any part of it, before the deal is concluded.

Visit the office
To be entered in the Registry, an agency must have business premises, so visit them before you sign anything.
